Owners: Robert Pack, Merchant of Carbonear; John Gosse, Merchant of Poole,
England; and John Fryer, Merchant of Wimborne, England.

Thought I would include the previous owners as well (These cannot be
confirmed as being the same HERALD, since there were no official numbers
assigned to them in the registry, but the stats fit, ie: same place and date
of construction and closure dates fit with re-registration dates):

1837 - 1837 : I837006 - Ewan, Alexander, and Angus McMillan, all of
Covehead, PEI., closed 1837 - Transfered to a New Port - Newfoundland.

1837 - 1846 : S837151 and S841048 - John Nicholl Jr., of Carbonear, closed
1846 - Registered De Novo.

1846 - 1847: S846065 - Henry, Edward, and Charles Tricks Bowring, Merchants
of St. John's, closed 1847 - Registered De Novo.
